The two most expensive events on the Alys Beach fall calendar are the Garden & Gun Society and Friends Gathering, at $2,800 a ticket, and Alys Beach Crafted, a week of chef dinners and 21-and-up tastings. Each one shares its dates with a free gathering in Alys Beach Town Center. The gathering opens on Thursday, October 22, the same afternoon dogs in costume take over Somerset Street. Crafted's Holiday Makers Market at the Amphitheatre costs nothing to attend and is open to the public.
Each ticketed event has a public event running alongside it, and you can plan your fall around those dates.
Thursday Starts With Both Calendars at Once
Garden & Gun is bringing its annual Society Gathering to Alys Beach from Thursday, October 22, through Sunday, October 25. The magazine's event page is direct about the change this year:
"For the first time, the G&G Society Gathering is open to all."
Past gatherings went to The Loren in Bermuda, to The Swag and Cataloochee Ranch in Maggie Valley, North Carolina, and to Gasparilla Inn & Club in Boca Grande. The 2026 guest list has a local name on it. Marieanne Khoury-Vogt, Alys Beach's town architect, appears alongside chef David Bancroft of Acre Restaurant and Bow & Arrow Barbecue, architect and designer Bobby McAlpine, Caymus Vineyards owner Chuck Wagner, Oyster South executive director Beth Walton and singer-songwriter Kathleen Edwards. The four days include dinners, conversations, architectural tours, outdoor activities and music.
At 4 p.m. that same Thursday, Town Center hosts Howl-O-Ween + Merchant Trick-or-Treating, which Alys Beach lists as a public event. The schedule runs in two parts:
- 4 to 5 p.m.: a costume contest for dogs and their owners. Capacity is limited, and contest entry requires an advance ticket.
- 5 to 7 p.m.: merchant trick-or-treating along Somerset Street.
- All evening: live music from DJ Mike Whitty.
Only the costume contest needs an advance ticket. Trick-or-treating and the music run on Somerset Street through 7 p.m., while the gathering's guests are settling in for their first night.
Tuesdays at NEAT Run Under Everything
One standing date runs underneath both big events. Every Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m., Wine + Song at NEAT Bottle Shop, 11 N Castle Harbour Drive, pairs live music with tableside tastings. The price is $30 per person for four wines.
October's lineup has had a different performer each week. Mari Gleason played October 6, Max McCann October 13 and Steven Theriot October 20. Corey Hall closes the month on Tuesday, October 27. That's the last Wine + Song date on the Alys Beach calendar right now, so check the town's events page for November dates before you head over.
Crafted Week, Sorted by What It Costs to Walk In
Alys Beach Crafted runs Wednesday, November 11, through Sunday, November 15. The festival's own site and its ticket listing both include Sunday. The town calendar's heading says "Nov. 11-14," but the Makers Market runs through November 15.
Nearly every Crafted event requires a ticket. The 2026 ticket listing treats the dinners, the songwriter session, Cocktails & Clay, Firkin Fête and Spirited Soirée as ticketed, and the Holiday Makers Market as the free event.

The Free Window Inside Crafted
The Holiday Makers Market gives you three chances to go. On Friday, November 13, the hours are 2 to 4:30 p.m., which fits after a workday. Saturday and Sunday it runs 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Santa photos are noon to 2 p.m. both weekend days.
Regional artisans sell their work in the Amphitheatre and talk about how they make it. Live music plays, and Town Center merchants sell food and drinks. The Cultural Arts Alliance runs a booth where visitors can make something, and the Crafted merchandise booth is there too. The event page welcomes all ages, with a "come as you are" dress code. Check the page's pet policy before bringing a dog.
You get the same Town Center and the same festival week as the ticket holders, with nothing to buy unless you want a gift.
Indaco's First Fall Is the Everyday Option
Between the big dates, dinner in Alys Beach has one more choice than it did last fall. Indaco, a modern Italian restaurant from The Indigo Road Hospitality Group, opened in Alys Beach Town Center in July 2026 next to O-Ku, the group's restaurant that opened in 2024. SoWal's opening announcement quoted Indigo Road founder Steve Palmer: "We're incredibly proud to expand our presence in Alys Beach with the opening of Indaco."
Executive Chef Dakota Watson leads the kitchen. The opening menu had Snapper Tartare and Polpette, Corn and Crab Triangoli, Beef Bolognese Radiatori, a Clam pizza from the wood-fired oven and a Pork Milanese. Dessert includes Vanilla Stracciatella soft serve and Butterscotch Budino. The "For the Table" option is a family-style, three-course chef's choice for $65 per person. The opening menu included a seasonal Peach pizza, so ask what's in season now. Indigo Road's Indaco page still lists the restaurant in Alys Beach. Check with the restaurant directly for fall hours.
Indaco's opening release described the menu as built for anything "from memorable family gatherings to the after-work date night." On a Crafted Thursday, when three ticketed dinners start at 5 p.m., it's the Town Center dinner you can book without a festival ticket.
After Crafted, the Calendar Turns Toward Thanksgiving
The rest of the season on east 30A comes in a short, mostly public run, and it finishes back in Alys Beach. 30A's fall roundup and the Alys Beach calendar list these dates:
- Tuesday, October 27: Wine + Song with Corey Hall at NEAT Bottle Shop, 5 to 7 p.m.
- Friday and Saturday, November 6 and 7: Mountainfilm on Tour at WaterColor Marina Park Amphitheater, 238 WaterColor Blvd. W. Gates open at 5:45 p.m. and films start at 7 p.m.
- Wednesday through Sunday, November 11 to 15: Alys Beach Crafted, with the free Holiday Makers Market from November 13 to 15.
- Thursday, November 26: the 30A Thanksgiving Day races in Rosemary Beach. The 10K starts at 7:30 a.m., the 1-Mile Fun Run at 7:35 a.m. and the 5K at 9:30 a.m.
- Friday, November 27: Alys in Winter Wonderland, listed as public, at 4 p.m.
The season has already had one change. The Market Shops' Bloody Mary Festival, set for October 10, was canceled because of expected weather and a state of emergency for the area, according to SoWal. Check each event page the week of the event.
Alys in Winter Wonderland falls the day after the Thanksgiving races, and like Howl-O-Ween, it's listed as open to the public.
Owning on 30A East means a fall calendar that keeps going after the summer crowds leave, and Town Center is a big part of that. If you're thinking about how your Alys Beach home fits into that calendar, whether you'll be here for the season, renting it out around these weekends or wondering what it's worth this fall, Ann Dempsey is glad to help.
